Feeding puppies holistic pet food

Posted by dogman on Tue 29th September 2009 4.26AM

I just purchased a puppy, and the breeder was so adamate about feeding the puppy a "holistic pet food." I am not even sure what the word "holistic" means, but is this safe for a puppy? I guess I am old school and need some comfort that this is really "healthy" for a puppy. Are they getting what they need still through "holistic ingredients?"

Holistic diet means the diet which is important for the development of whole body parts and that is carefully formulated using only high quality, natural, wholesome ingredients. The smaller kibbles is right food for puppies and easier for them to chew and release all the essential nutrients.
